1. How are the louvres adjusted?
The robust aluminium louvres can be easily and continuously adjusted using the remote control. You can open, close and tilt the louvres up to 135° to adjust the light entry. When fully closed, the pergola provides protection from the sun and light rain.
2. How is the pergola assembled?
The pergola can be assembled by two people. For installing the louvres and cross beams, it is recommended that two additional people assist. The krävs tools are a cordless screwdriver and two ladders. The necessary materials are included in the package. Precise pre-drilling and precision rails facilitate assembly.
3. What type of base is recommended?
A concrete base is recommended for a stable foundation, which should have a minimum surface area of 22x22 cm.
4. Can the louvre roof also be mounted on a wall?
No, the louvre roof is designed for freestanding installation and must not be attached to a wall.
5. Is additional equipment included?
Yes, this package includes 4 manual roller blinds.
6. Is the pergola suitable for heavy rain?
It has been tested for up to 17 L/m² per hour. Our pergolas are ideal for rain and offer good protection in these conditions.
7. What is the snow load capacity of the pergola?
The pergola has been tested for a snow load of up to 80 kg per square metre. Please open the louvres during snowfall to prevent bending or damage.
8. What should be considered during strong winds with the pergola?
During strong winds, the louvres should be opened. The pergola has been tested up to wind force 9 on the Beaufort scale, which corresponds to wind speeds of up to 100 km/h (strong gale).
9. Is the LED lighting replaceable?
Yes, the LED lighting is replaceable. You can remove the LED strip and insert a new one. The LED rail remains in place; only the LED strip is replaced.
10. What type of remote control is used?
The pergola is equipped with a remote control that also operates the RGB LED lighting. The remote control runs on batteries, which are included in the package.
11. Can the motor be easily replaced if it is defective?
Yes, the motor can be easily replaced without having to disassemble the entire pergola.
12. What is the size of the rain drainage opening at the bottom?
The drainage opening has a diameter of approximately 2x5x2.5 cm.
13. What size screws (diameter) are krävs for securing the pergola to the ground?
M8 diameter anchor bolts are krävs.
